The Smallest 1080p60 Camera Available
The HD19 is the Smallest HD bullet camera on the market at 19mm (0.750″) in diameter, and just 72mm(2.8″) long. The HD19 features a 2.1 megapixel Sony CMOS sensor and powerful DSP producing impressive results from such a small camera.
High Performance
The HD19 offers full 1080p60 HD with a latest generation Eyenix DSP featuring; Wide Dynamic Range, 2D and 3D digital noise reduction, and an advanced automatic gain control algorythm, shooting great video out-of-the-box in nearly any lighting situation. Video is output via the SMPTE 424M 3G-SDI or 292M HD-SDI standards.
Rugged & Waterproof
Housed in a machined aluminum enclosure the HD19 is IP67 rated for submersion up to 1 meter, making it tough enough to handle any weather condition. The HD19 is an ideal low maintenance solution for mounting outside the cockpit.
Flexible
A powerful DSP allows users to adjust settings such as; resolution and frame rate, shutter speed, white balance, back-light compensation, wide dynamic range, gain level, noise reduction, and flip, mirror, or rotate the image. A wide range of standard M12(S-mount) lenses allows users to choose nearly any field of view.

Configuration - Lenses & Cabling
The HD19 has the option for different cable configurations and different lens options.
Cable Type
The HD19 offers a number of different cabling options:
Standard Pigtail: RV-CAM-HD19-(_._MM-__)
The standard pigtail includes a cable that extends from the back of the camera, to a junction with built-in menu control and then to connections. The cable extends 17.5″ from the back of the camera to the junction with individual breakouts extending another 8″. Breakouts include: HD Video (BNC), NTSC/PAL Video (BNC), and Power (2.1×5.5mm Barrel).
HRS Power Pigtail(for Rugged Video Systems): RV-CAM-HD19-HP-(_._MM-__)
The HRS pigtail includes a cable that extends from the back of the camera, to a junction with built-in menu control and then to connections. The cable extends 17.5″ from the back of the camera to the junction with individual breakouts extending another 8″. Breakouts include: HD Video (BNC), NTSC/PAL Video (BNC), and Power (HRS LF07WBJ-6P).
HRS Integrated Pigtail Connector (for Rugged Video Systems): RV-CAM-HD19-IP-(_._MM-__)
The integrated pigtail option features a 6-pin Hirose LF series connector built directly into the back of the camera. This connector includes pins for: HD Video, NTSC/PAL, Joystick OSD Control, and Power. By combining all signals into one connector, these cameras can be connected with a single cable for both power and video. This camera can be used with specialty Rugged Video systems wired for a single cable, or with the use of a breakout cable with virtually any video equipment. The RV-CAM-HD19-IP also ships with a breakout cable allowing for setup, testing, and joystick control for setting adjustments.

6. SDI Ground
R44 with Generic Pigtail: RV-CAM-HD19-R44-(_._MM-__)
The R44 version of this camera with a generic pigtail is specifically built to be installed in the Horizontal stabilizer of the R44. A single pigtail extends from the camera to a breakout connection which connects inside the boom. Once broken out the cable has the standard connections of the Generic Pigtail. Please contact a sales rep for any questions about this configuration.
R44 with HRS Pigtail (for Rugged Video Systems): RV-CAM-HD19-R44-HP-(_._MM-__)
The R44 version of this camera with a HRS pigtail is specifically built to be installed in the Horizontal stabilizer of the R44. A single pigtail extends from the camera to a breakout connection which connects inside the boom. Once broken out the cable has the connections of the HRS pigtail designed to be used with Rugged Video systems. Please contact a sales rep for any questions about this configuration.
RS-485 Option: RV-CAM-HD19-IP-485-(_._MM-__) & RV-CAM-HD19-IP-485-(_._MM-__)
The HD19 RS-485 option allows the operator to adjust camera settings and configuration on the fly using a simple serial API. Rugged Video provides protocol documentation and example commands to get you started. Available on the Integrated Connector version of HD19 – specify the RS-485 option when ordering.
Lenses: RV-LENS-M12-__.__MM-__
The HD19 lens is protected by a scratch resistant polycarbonate window and sealed aluminum hood. For the most demanding applications, a nearly scratch-proof Sapphire window is also available. The HD19 camera has an IR cut filter installed on the image sensor by default. Because the IMX327 sensor is sensitive to NIR wavelengths, daylight images would appear with a reddish tint without a filter. Some lenses also have IR coatings or IR cut filters installed. IR-filtered lenses are denoted with the “IR” suffix in the part number.
The HD19 Micro HD Bullet Camera has the option of lenses from 160 degree wide angle to 8 degree zoom. Lenses are a fixed focal length M12 or S-Mount type with an adjustable focus. Lenses which are listed as “Not compatible with front hood” are too large for the waterproof lens hood/cover, and are recommended for interior applications only.
When referring to a single “FOV” angle, Rugged Video literature is considering the diagonal FOV; however, for many applications it is important to also know the horizontal and vertical angles. The table below lists the actual FOV angles measured using most standard lenses with the HD19 camera. To illustrate the effects of lens distortion, we have measured FOV at both the center and the edges of the image. Measurements are provided for reference only and may be slightly different than those measured by different methods.
Additional focal lengths and vari-focal lenses are available as special order options. While most lenses and lens hoods are stocked, some less common waterproof lens hoods may be non-stock with leadtimes of 4-8wks.
Mounting Options
The HD19 features a standard 1/4″-20 mounted boss on the back of the camera and a wrap around collar for use with standard camera mounts. The aluminum collar is designed to reduce vibration and stress, by supporting the camera from the center mass.
Aluminum Collar (included): RV-10098M
Available Mounts
A number of mounting options are available for the HD29, each using the standard 1/4″-20 stud.
